Anthony Riddick was fatally stabbed on Wednesday, June 4, 1986, at about 11:15 p.m. in the 1400 block of Fairmont Street NW in Washington, D.C. The attack left him dead and the case open with the Metropolitan Police Department.

Decades later the homicide remains unsolved and is treated as a cold case. Investigators have not publicly disclosed what led to the stabbing, and no information about suspects or arrests has been released. A reward of up to $25,000 is being offered for information that leads to an arrest and conviction.
