Hey everyone,

I've been following discussions on this case, and something that's really been on my mind is the role of addiction. It's a complex and challenging issue that impacts so many lives. In Robert Angel Crow's situation, it's mentioned that he was under the influence of meth, marijuana, and alcohol. I'm not excusing his actions in any way—what happened to Christopher Salles is beyond tragic and affects everyone who knew and loved him. Families are left grieving, and communities are left to pick up the pieces.

But addiction is a societal issue we just can't ignore. I wonder what could've been done differently here. Was there any support or intervention that might have steered Crow away from this path? I feel like we need more resources for those battling addiction, especially those living on the streets. What are everyone's thoughts on preventative measures and how we can better address this dimension in future cases?

Thinking of Christopher's loved ones and hoping for justice and peace.
