I've been trying to follow the case of Javier Araiza Anaya and Manaury Acevedo closely, and it's been keeping me up at night. I can only imagine the immense pain their families must be enduring right now. While there's still a lot of mystery surrounding this tragic incident, I wanted to bring attention to something that doesn't seem to get mentioned enough: the impact on the neighborhood where this happened. From what I've read, the midtown area of Tucson has always been a diverse and vibrant community. But ever since the shooting on September 18, 2020, it seems like people have been on edge, rightly so. I’m curious if anyone living nearby has witnessed any changes or increased police presence? It's sad to see a community that's been so welcoming in the past now having to cope with such a violent event. Hopefully, the ongoing investigation by the Tucson Police Department will bring some much-needed answers and peace soon. My thoughts are with Javier and Manaury's loved ones during this difficult time.
