Hey everyone, just wanted to share a thought that's been on my mind since Kaityln Appoleon was reported missing. I've been keeping up with the case and something that's really sticking out to me is how often we see young people going missing from places like hotels. It's like every other day there's a new report about a teenager vanishing after leaving one. Now, I know Kaityln’s situation had a good ending, and she's safe now, which is a huge relief. But it really makes you think about the environments where teens might be more vulnerable. Do any of you think there should be more security measures or awareness in places where young people often frequent, like these hotels? Maybe more easily accessible emergency contacts or protocols specifically for when young guests go missing? I’d love to hear your thoughts on if there's a bigger pattern here or if it's just coincidental. Also, kudos to Detective Dequarto and the Fort Lauderdale PD for their work on this one. Feels like they have solid procedures, but what else can be done to prevent situations like this from happening in the first place?
