I've been following Dae's case since it happened, and something that's been on my mind is the effect on her local community. It breaks my heart to think that a vibrant life and a soon-to-be mother were taken so senselessly. I've read that the area around 41st Avenue and Tonto has seen its fair share of struggles, but this tragedy really underscored the need for change. What I find inspiring, though, is how the community rallied together when Dae was taken from them. It seemed like she touched so many lives and brought people together in their grief and determination to seek answers. The increased reward and community support may have been key factors that finally led to an arrest, showing what can be achieved when people unite for a cause. I'm hopeful that moving forward, awareness of such violence can lead to measures that prevent future tragedies. Sending strength and peace to Dae's family and friends.

It's so devastating to read about what Chardae Amari "Dae" Todd's family had to endure while waiting for justice. It's especially disheartening to think about the many sleepless nights her mother must have had during those long months with no answers. I can't imagine the sense of relief, however bittersweet, when they finally announced the arrest of Wilbur Tochico in July 2021. It makes me reflect on how crucial community support and persistence are in cases like these. Local tips and increased rewards truly can make a difference. Seeing such developments gives hope that justice will be served, but it's a reminder of how many families still wait for answers in similar situations. My thoughts and deepest sympathies continue to be with Chardae's family. I hope they receive the peace and closure they deserve.
