I've been following the case of the man who disappeared after reportedly wanting to live off the land. What's puzzling to me is the gap between when he was last heard from and when he was officially reported missing. Going three years without reaching out to anyone seems unusual, even if he wanted a hermit lifestyle. Has anyone looked into why it took so long for someone to officially report him missing? Did his family or other friends assume he was just living his dream and wouldn't contact them? Any similar cases where the person eventually showed up after years? Wondering if there's more to the story.

Hey everyone, I’ve been following this case since it came up and I just can't get over how bizarre it all seems. The fact that his ex-roommates say he wanted to live off the land is interesting, but wouldn't someone have spotted him by now? It's been years! I'm curious if anyone knows if there have been local searches in areas where he might have headed. Maybe there are some off-grid communities nearby? I know it’s a long shot, but sometimes people pop up in the most unexpected places. Just trying to keep positive and keep the conversation going. Anyone else have thoughts on this angle?
