I'm new to this thread but felt compelled to share a bit of insight. I haven't seen much discussion about the potential impact on the 12-year-old survivor of this tragedy. It's haunting to think about what she must have gone through and the long-term effects this might have on her. It’s such a cruel twist of fate for a young girl to have to endure witnessing such violence, especially when it's within her family. I hope she’s surrounded by strong support and receives the care she desperately needs to heal from this ordeal. If anyone knows more about resources in Mesa or how the community is rallying around her, please share. Sending thoughts to all affected by this horrible event.
