Hi everyone, I’ve been following the case of Maikel Castaneda-Garcia from Houston pretty closely and there’s something that’s left me scratching my head. There hasn’t been much info about who Maikel might have been in touch with online before he disappeared. I know teenagers spend a lot of time on social media these days, and it can sometimes give clues or at least background on what they were thinking or planning. Has anyone heard if his phone or computer activity is being looked into by the authorities? It’s troubling to think there was possibly some sort of digital interaction that remains undiscovered, especially since even minor details or contacts can sometimes lead to breakthroughs in cases like these. If there's any update on this angle or if HPD is calling for anyone who interacted with him online to step up, I’d be keen to hear more. Hoping Maikel is found safe and soon. Thanks for any insights!
