I've been following Scyee Bernardo’s case pretty closely, and something that's been gnawing at me is the absence of any sightings or CCTV footage from the 4th of July. I mean, it was a holiday, right? People are out and about, there’s usually more security around town events, and frankly, it seems like it would be difficult for two teenagers to disappear without leaving some kind of trail. Are there any reports about specific areas in Bartow being canvassed for security footage? Did the authorities set up any kind of command center to gather these kinds of leads early on? If anyone has info on the level of public involvement or if there were appeals to businesses or homes along their last known path, I'd love to hear it. It just feels like there’s a gap in the narrative around the early days of their disappearance.
