I can't stop thinking about how close David's case could be to so many others that never get resolved. I'm really hoping the fact that everyone stayed at the scene and worked with investigators will help bring clarity and some semblance of justice for his family. It sounds like the investigation is moving along since it’s being handed over to the Maricopa County Attorney’s Office. Does anyone have info on what typically happens next in such situations? What steps might they take before deciding on charges? I truly hope those who loved David get the answers they deserve and that this leads to some positive change in gun violence situations like this.
