Just when you think you've heard it all, another devastating story surfaces. I feel so deeply for Shatifah Lobley's family and loved ones. The whole thing about how Jones lured Officer Peru into the house under false pretenses is terrifying. That kind of betrayal and deception is just unfathomable to me. I can't even begin to imagine the fear and chaos that must have ensued inside that house. A huge nod to the bravery of the officers who put themselves in harm's way. It's easy to overlook the human element behind those uniforms, but the thought of them facing that kind of volatility and still pushing forward to rescue the innocent little one? That's something truly remarkable. I hope the community continues to rally around Shatifah's family and the officers who were injured. They all need immense support right now.
