Has anyone else noticed the timing of when Sherry's car was found? It's interesting that it was abandoned just one day after her family reported her missing. Makes me wonder if she had been on the road the whole time since leaving the hospital or if there was a delay in someone finding the car. Could she have been driving aimlessly and then veered off course due to the snowstorm or poor visibility? And why Josephine County? It's so far and seemingly random unless she was seeking solitude or maybe meant to visit someone without notifying her family. I just find it puzzling that she ended up 300 miles away in a remote area. If anyone has thoughts on why she might have chosen that route or if there's any historical weather data from that week for more context, please share!
Hi everyone,
I've been following Sherry Wellwood's case, and there's something that's been puzzling me. Why did her car end up on such a remote road in Josephine County? It's such a long way from Hillsboro, and as far as I know, she didn't have any ties or reasons to go to that area. Given her recent discharge from psychiatric treatment, there might be an explanation related to her mental state, but still, the distance seems unusual. Has anyone looked into possible connections she might have had in that area, maybe through social media or past acquaintances? It's just so strange, and I can't help but wonder if there's something we've been missing. Would love to hear your thoughts or any insights you might have on this particular aspect of the case.
I’ve been following Sherry Wellwood's case pretty closely, and something just doesn't add up for me. Does anyone else find it strange that she ended up 300 miles away from home in such an isolated area? I mean, if she was struggling with her mental health, why head to such a remote place with no apparent connection to her? It's almost like she was trying to get as far away as possible.
Also, the fact that her car was found stuck, with her phone and wallet inside, just gives me the chills. If she really did walk away from the car, it feels like maybe she intended to come back—or hoped to. Has there been any discussion about her connections or visits to Josephine County in the past? Maybe finding out why she would head there could unravel part of the mystery.
