I’ve been thinking a lot about how the community has come together for the Gutierrez family after this tragedy. It's just awful knowing that his wife and kids have to face this tremendous loss. The fact that a GoFundMe was set up and is being supported really shows how much Jose meant to those around him. It’s a small way for folks to show their care and keep his memory alive. If you haven’t already seen the campaign, it’s definitely worth checking out and supporting if you can. No one ever plans for something like this, and every bit can help with easing the financial burden they’re facing right now. It’s uplifting to see that even amidst darkness, there’s still a strong community spirit. ?️
Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about Jose Gutierrez's case in Mesa, and one detail that's been really bothering me is the BB gun. It seems strange to me that Jose would have it tucked under his leg if he was intending to threaten anyone with it. It just doesn’t add up with Gomez’s story about Jose pulling it out from under the seat. If Jose genuinely wanted to use it, wouldn’t it be more accessible, like in his lap or even in his hand? The placement seems odd and makes me question Gomez’s version of events even more.
It's just so sad to think that someone lost their life over a situation like this. Jose's family must be going through an unimaginable level of pain and confusion right now. My heart goes out to them, especially knowing Jose was a dedicated family man with so much to live for. Hopefully, justice will be served, and some clarity will arise from this tragedy.
What's everyone else's take on the BB gun detail? Does anyone have any thoughts or similar situations that they can share?
Stay safe, folks.
