Hey everyone, something that’s been on my mind about Rachel Hansen’s case is the issue with the apartment's locks being changed. It’s baffling to think that Rachel reported an intruder and the locks had been altered. If the locks were changed, who did it and why? Was it linked to those she thought might be associated with the previous occupants? The fact that there was no forced entry suggests whoever got in had access somehow, and the changed locks make this even more suspicious. Also, the lack of operational cameras in the complex is just frustrating. You’d think a gated community would offer more security, especially for young residents like Rachel who had just returned and probably expected to feel safe.
This whole situation must be so incredibly difficult for her family. It’s just unimaginable what they are going through. I really hope the PI they’ve hired can dig up something the police might have missed. Lock details seem like such a crucial part but sometimes end up being overlooked. Keeping them in my thoughts ?.
It's been really difficult to shake off the eerie feeling I've had after learning that there were no operational cameras in Rachel Hansen's apartment complex at the time of her death. In a gated community, you'd think safety measures like surveillance would be a given. This just makes me wonder if her tragic fate could have been avoided if there had been proper security protocols in place. My heart goes out to Rachel's family who are tirelessly searching for answers. It must be so frustrating knowing that such a crucial part of evidence collection was missing due to lack of surveillance. I hope their efforts to raise the Silent Witness reward and involve a private investigator bring new information to light. Rachel deserves justice, and her family deserves peace.
Hey everyone,
I've been following Rachel Hansen's case, and something that's really been bugging me is the lack of surveillance footage from her apartment complex. In an age where cameras seem to be everywhere, it’s baffling that not a single one was operational at the time of her murder. I can’t help but wonder if this was just a major oversight or something more sinister.
Rachel’s family deserves answers, and it’s heartbreaking to think that the investigation could have had a different outcome if there were working cameras. It makes you think about the importance of these safety measures and how they can potentially prevent such tragedies or at least provide crucial evidence. Hoping her family gains some closure soon and that maybe a tip comes in that shines a light on this case.
Anyone else have thoughts on how the lack of surveillance might have impacted the investigation?
