Hey everyone, I wanted to bring up something that's been on my mind about the Shelton case. Has anyone noticed the lack of sightings or confirmed reports of the family outside California? It seems like they might be staying within the local area where they feel more familiar and have some connections. I wonder if the authorities have considered focusing more on community engagement within Chula Vista and the surrounding areas to possibly gather more leads. It's baffling that there hasn't been a single solid lead about their movements. Anyone else think they might have some close ties in the region that are helping them stay under the radar?

I’ve been following the Shelton kids' case for a while now, and it just baffles me how there haven’t been any solid leads or sightings. I was thinking about the role technology plays in cases like this. Nowadays, it seems like there are cameras just about everywhere, but somehow they’ve managed to stay off the grid? Makes you wonder... Did the mother plan this out beforehand, or did they just get really lucky with avoiding detection? I know there have been attempts to use age-progression images to help the public recognize the kids, but I’m curious about how effective those really are. Do people actually recognize kids from those images? I keep imagining the family still being out there somewhere, maybe relying on help from friends or family. Anyway, just wanted to share these thoughts and see if anyone else has theories on how they've avoided being found for this long. Any insight?

I just stumbled across the case of Jazmin Shelton and her siblings, and it's really got me thinking about how non-custodial abductions often get overlooked compared to stranger abductions. What's really frustrating is how complex these situations can get when there's a custodial dispute involved. I can't help but wonder if there might be people around Chula Vista who might have unknowingly crossed paths with them. Maybe someone out there could piece together small details or spot something off. The age-progressed images are out there, so it might just take one person recognizing them to make a difference. If anyone has any ties to the area or knows folks who do, try to spread the word. You never know who might hold that crucial piece of information.
