Hey all, I’ve been following the Stephen Ferris case for a while, and something has been on my mind regarding that initial search effort back in '93. I recently came across a discussion about how search operations in dense forested areas like Birch Creek are often hindered by limited resources and manpower, especially when there's little info on the starting point. Does anyone know if the search party used any tracking dogs at the time, or if there were any particular challenges they faced with that? I feel like that could have played a significant role in the early days. Just thinking out loud, hope it's okay to share this hunch here!
