Did anyone else feel a bit confused about the decision to charge Edgar Arreola with first-degree murder? I'm certainly no legal expert, but from what's being discussed, it seems like the first shots he fired were in response to a direct threat. It's that second round of shots once Zapata was down that complicates things, I suppose. I can’t imagine being in such a chaotic situation, but I hope for everyone's sake that the investigation brings clarity. My thoughts are with the families of Efrain and Rafael—what a terrible loss for both sides. It just feels like such a senseless escalation. ?
