I can't stop thinking about the eerie timing of Donna Hougland's last known contact. Does anyone else find it strange that she disappeared right after saying she wanted to cut ties with her family? It makes me wonder if she had been planning something for a while. Was she trying to protect them from something, or was she experiencing something we don't know about? I keep wondering if she reached out to anyone else, like coworkers or friends, to say any goodbyes. My hope is that she reached out to someone who might have more insight into her mental state at that time. I know it's a stretch, but sometimes people confide in unlikely places. Maybe someone out there holds a piece of this puzzle without even realizing it. Thoughts?
