Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic incident that took place at the gas station in north Phoenix, and something that's been on my mind is the impact on the clerk who was there that day. Can you imagine being in their shoes? One minute, you're doing your routine job, and the next, someone walks in and basically surrenders after committing such a violent act. It must be incredibly traumatizing to witness that and then have to calmly interact with the person responsible. I hope the gas station management is providing some kind of support or counseling options for their employees. It’d be a lot for anyone to process, and I really feel for all those affected, especially Joseph Patruno’s loved ones who are dealing with such a senseless loss. It's just so unsettling how this unfolded and how many lives were suddenly turned upside down. If anyone knows about how establishments generally handle situations like this regarding employee well-being, I'd be curious to learn more. Thanks for letting me share.
