I can't stop thinking about how devastating this must be for Erica and her other children. Imagine the shock and pain of losing a son and brother in such a violent way, and then having to deal with the fact that it was his own father who did it. It's unfathomable. I wonder how Erica and the kids are coping now that Gallardo has been sentenced. Hopefully, with the no-contact order in place, they'll be able to start a healing process, even if it's just a small step forward. Does anyone know if there's a support group or community effort in place to help them out? I can't imagine going through this alone, and it would be heartening to know that there's a safety net in place for them.
