Hey everyone, I've been following the case of Manuel Reyes's tragic death in Phoenix, and one aspect that's really on my mind is the safety of that neighborhood around 15th Avenue and Taylor Street. I've read that locals are really concerned about the rise in violence in the area, and it's truly unsettling to think about how danger can hit so close to home. Manuel's passing has shone a harsh light on something that impacts so many communities across the country. It's clear that more needs to be done to ensure the safety of people in neighborhoods like these. I can't imagine how the residents must feel now, knowing that a life was lost and others were injured right in their community. I hope that more resources and support are directed to this area not only to prevent further incidents but to provide some peace of mind for everyone who calls it home.
