I can't stop thinking about how devastating this must be for Amairani Cruz. Losing so much of her family in one night is unimaginable. I see so many people talking about mental health awareness now, and it's like a reminder of how important it is to really look after each other. It's haunting to think about what Rafael must have been going through. Yet, it’s also painful to imagine how different things could have been if he’d received the help he needed sooner. Maybe if we were all more open about mental health, we could prevent further tragedies. My heart goes out to the Popoca family and everyone who's been affected by this. I hope the community continues to offer their support and raise awareness about the importance of reaching out when things feel overwhelming.

I’ve been following the tragic events involving the Popoca family, and it continues to haunt me. I keep thinking about Amairani, Aide Popoca’s eldest daughter. Losing so much so suddenly is unimaginable. She’s dealing with her own devastating loss while also trying to bring awareness to mental health issues, which is so important. In a way, it’s a powerful reminder to us all to check on our loved ones and be more attuned to the subtle warning signs that can sometimes be easily overlooked. It’s insightful how Amairani mentioned the red flags she now sees in hindsight regarding her brother Rafael's mental health struggles. It really highlights that we need better systems and more open discussions surrounding mental health. My heart goes out to the family. If the community could come together to aid them through the GoFundMe campaign, it would at least provide some solace in what has to be an extremely difficult and confusing time. Just so painful to witness an entire neighborhood trying to process such a senseless loss. Let's keep the dialogue open about the importance of mental health. Hopefully, something positive can emerge from this tragedy in memory of Aide, Ashley, and even Rafael.
