Does anyone know if there have been any updates on the case recently? It's been so hard to see Desiree's family go through this. Being from the area, it breaks my heart that a vibrant life was taken so senselessly. I recently saw on social media that they've been holding onto hope through events and vigils, and the community continues to rally around them, but it must be so frustrating not having justice yet. I'm really wondering if the legal process is just slow, or if there are any leads that the public doesn't know about. With all the technology and witnesses from that night, you’d think something would've surfaced by now. Let's keep spreading her story and the message for justice so that Desiree's family can get the closure they need.

It deeply saddens me to think that it’s been over a year and Desiree’s family and friends are still in the dark about who was responsible for her tragic death. I can only imagine the pain and frustration they must be enduring. With so many people at that party, many of whom likely recorded or captured images, it’s disheartening that no arrests have been made. Seeing her cheer jersey framed at Cesar Chavez High School touches my heart, showcasing just how much she meant to her community. I truly hope that more witnesses come forward and that we see some movement in this case. Desiree’s story deserves closure, and her family deserves justice. Let's keep talking, sharing, and supporting them in their quest for answers.
