I've been following Sarah Renee Black's case, and something that's been on my mind is the gap between her last known activity and when the missing persons report was filed. It's a pretty lengthy period, over two years, and I'm curious about what steps, if any, were taken during that time by friends or family to reach out to authorities or to try and locate her themselves. Did anyone try hiring a private investigator, or were there any other efforts made that we know of? It seems like those first few days or weeks after she went silent would have been crucial. Also, could there be any factors that might have delayed reporting her missing? It would be interesting to understand the dynamics around how Sarah's absence was perceived and handled by those close to her over that long stretch of time before anything official began.
