Has anyone looked into whether David might've had plans to meet up with anyone in the Palm Springs area? It’s just a bit strange that he checked into the Motel 6 after the disagreement with his wife. Was it just a place to crash undisturbed, or was something else going on? If there was a meeting that he didn’t tell anyone about, it could be a critical piece of the puzzle. I'm curious if investigators have considered this angle. Also, for those familiar with public transportation in the area, is it possible he could’ve used it to go off-grid? I'm just trying to piece together how he might have moved around after he was last seen at the motel.
