I'm particularly puzzled by the discrepancies in Amit Maharaj's case between his family's understanding and his actions. When Amit last communicated with his family in April 2025 through Facebook messaging, they thought he was still staying at the Board and Care home. It's strange that he would indicate otherwise to his case manager earlier, saying he was out of state and wanted no contact. I wonder if there were any misunderstandings or communication breakdowns within the family or if Amit deliberately chose to keep them in the dark about his true situation. It makes me want to dig more into his relationship dynamics. Could there be more going on beneath the surface, motivating his decision to break off and remain unreachable? His sudden radio silence and the unassigned phone number definitely raise concerns. What do you all think about this aspect?
