Hi everyone, I've been following the case of Mauricio Jose Lopez Gamboa closely, and something that keeps sticking in my mind is the whole situation with the phone. It seems pretty strange to me that someone else answered his phone and claimed they bought it after Mauricio disappeared. Does anyone have any insight into how quickly these kinds of things can happen on the streets of Dallas? Like, could someone have gotten hold of his phone that quickly if something bad happened to him? Or, is it possible there might be a less sinister explanation, like maybe he sold his phone for cash and didn’t have a chance to let his family know? The whole timing is throwing me off because he was so consistent about staying in touch, especially with his daughter. It's like he vanished right after planning to send money. Any thoughts on what might have gone down with his phone or experiences with similar cases? I really hope they can find something that provides clarity for his family. Stay safe, everyone!
