Hi everyone, I've been following the developments in the Leander Nephew case, and something that's been on my mind is the impact this tragedy must have had on the community around Seventh and Jefferson Streets. For those unfamiliar with the area, it's usually buzzing with activity, especially with Chase Field nearby. I can't even begin to imagine how the people who frequent those streets or who were nearby that night must be feeling now. There's often a strong sense of security in familiar places, like the neighborhoods we pass through daily or gather with friends after work, and such a violent event shakes that foundation. I’m hoping the community can come together to offer support to one another during such a difficult time. To any locals here, how has the mood changed in that part of Phoenix? Are there community efforts underway to support each other? Sending peace and strength to Leander's family and friends.
