Hi everyone, I've been thinking a lot about the surveillance footage from that Amazon delivery truck. It's remarkable how technology is becoming a vital tool in solving these cases, but it absolutely shatters my heart that we even need it for situations like this. Jamiere’s family and friends are going through such a tough time, and to think this evidence came from someone just doing their everyday job makes it all the more surreal. It's horrifying how a regular day can turn into a pivotal moment in a tragedy. I can't imagine how the delivery driver feels knowing their camera footage held the key to identifying the suspect. Hopefully, this will bring some sense of justice for Jamiere’s loved ones, although nothing can truly fill the void left behind by such a promising young life. How do we start to address the root causes of this kind of youth violence? It seems like every time we turn around, there’s another young life lost, and it leaves a lasting scar on our communities. My thoughts are consistently with those affected, and I hope we can all come together to combat this growing issue.
