Well, let's just clear up a few things. Sage was White not Hispanic. Bryan not Brian. Buscemi not Busmi. Baynen not Bayan.
Every year twice a year Sage would take a trip to see her family in California. If things were
so bad why didn't she stay in California? Why did it take her 20 years to finally say she wanted out? I'll tell you why, because of money. GREED. Bryan supported her the whole time they were married. Sage always had the best of everything and anything she wanted Bryan would give. She would take vacations with her family while Bryan worked to pay for those trips.
When Bryan had a motorcycle accident 10 years ago, Sage drained his bank account and gave the money to members of her family. $50,000.00 worth. Members of Sage's family lived with them off and on the whole time they were married. After Bryan came home from the hospital, Sage became abusive. Bryan could not walk and was bedridden. Sage would deny him basic things including food and water. Threatened to leave him and take their sons and never come back.
Domestic violence isn't always the woman and kids getting abused. Sometimes it's the man. People can put on a good show.
Has anyone else read about the tragic case involving Sage and her family in Phoenix? I'm curious if there were any previous signs or interventions that could have possibly prevented this. Considering Brian's described behavior as reclusive and controlling, were there past incidents of concern that were maybe overlooked? It's just so difficult to process how things escalated to this level. My heart truly goes out to the friends and family of Sage, Carmen, and young Bayan. It's hard to fathom the pain they all must be going through. If anyone has more details or understands the broader context, I'd appreciate hearing more. It's just so important to raise awareness about the red flags in domestic situations like this.
I recently read about the tragic events involving Sage Yohannah Fitz, and it's just such a painful reminder of the silent battles some people face behind closed doors. What really struck me about this case is how loved Sage seemed to be by her community. A friend of mine said that Sage was one of those people who could light up a room with her energy, and she was genuinely invested in making others feel welcomed and appreciated. It's so devastating to think that someone who brought so much positivity to others had her life cut short in such a violent manner.
The fact that this happened at her workplace also makes me wonder how safe she felt there, considering Brian's controlling behavior. Did anyone witness any warning signs during his visits? It's so important that we learn to recognize the red flags and support our friends and colleagues in any way we can. My heart goes out to everyone affected, especially the loved ones left behind. I hope the community finds a way to support each other through this difficult time.
I’ve been following the Phoenix case and it's just so devastating to keep hearing about these seemingly sudden eruptions of violence in families. It’s hard to imagine the pain their friends and family must be going through right now. I can't stop thinking about how the victims touched the lives of those around them. Sage must have been such a beacon of positivity. Losing her and her son Bayan, who was still so young and navigating the challenges of autism, is just unimaginable. It’s a stark reminder of the perils of unchecked domestic violence. I hope this opens up more conversations about interventions and support for those who might be in similar situations. Sending thoughts to everyone affected.
