Has anyone else seen the surveillance footage the Phoenix PD released regarding the shooting involving Jose Angel Ruiz Leyva? I caught a glimpse of it on the news, and it’s just eerie to think of what these cameras capture. It painted such a vivid picture of how quickly things escalated between him and his stepson, Jorge Adrian Ramirez. I can't imagine the kind of emotions running through Jorge at that moment, but resorting to violence is just so tragic. It’s difficult not to feel pained imagining what the family must be going through right now—first losing a loved one and now facing the reality of a family member charged with his murder.
The fact that the public was able to identify the vehicle so quickly is a testament to how much people want to help bring justice, but I can only hope members of this family find some peace and healing as the case progresses.
