I was rereading some details about Jim Minshall's case and I can't help but wonder about the level of planning that might have gone into this crime. It really struck me that the shooter seemed to know exactly when to strike, at a time when the shopping district was likely starting to come alive with customers. It makes me question if the perpetrator had been watching the store for a while to determine the best time to carry out the robbery, or if it was just a tragic crime of opportunity. It breaks my heart to think that someone who was such a valued member of the community and a beloved family man could be taken away in such a callous manner. My thoughts and prayers continue to go out to Jim's family, especially his wife Marlena and their children. Here's hoping justice is served sooner rather than later.
