Hey everyone, I've been following Ethan Smoot's case, and something that's been bugging me is the delay in entering his details into the National Missing and Unidentified Persons System. It's odd that it took over a year - until April 8, 2026 - for this to happen. Any idea why this might be the case? Are there usually such lengthy delays in similar cases, or could there be specific circumstances that lead to this lag? I'm just trying to piece together why his case didn’t gain traction sooner. It seems like lost time in the search for him. Let’s hope there's progress soon.
