I came across this case and felt compelled to share my thoughts about how swiftly the police managed to apprehend a suspect after Oziel Vazquez-Serrano was tragically killed. It's a small relief in this terribly difficult situation for his family—to know that there was some immediate action and progress made in the investigation. It must provide them with at least a sliver of hope that justice will be served. My heart really goes out to them during this unimaginably tough time. While it doesn’t bring Oziel back, knowing that law enforcement is actively pursuing justice on his behalf is crucial. How does everyone else feel about the role of community support in such cases? Is there something more we can do for the families affected by violence?
