Hey everyone, I just stumbled upon the case of Charles Dames and found it really puzzling. What stood out to me is that he left behind his dental retainer that has a prosthetic front tooth. I mean, that's something you would think someone wouldn't leave without if they planned to be away for a long period, right? It's like a part of daily life that you'd definitely miss. With his retainer left behind and the place looking like someone had packed up, I'm wondering if he intended to go away for a short trip and something went wrong? His brother mentioned camping, but it just seems off. Given that he relied so heavily on a bike and seemed to live a pretty isolated life, maybe it was something spontaneous and it just got out of hand? Any thoughts on how significant leaving personal items like that might be in such cases?
