I’ve been thinking a lot about the red Kia Soul in this case. It’s so sad to think that something as distinct as a bright red car could be linked to such a terrible event. Even though it ended up playing a crucial role in identifying the suspect, it must be haunting for Jeremiah’s family every time they see a similar vehicle around Omaha. The image of that car pulling away from the gas station seems to linger in my mind. I hope that anyone who saw anything that night and recognizes that car speaks up. Jeremiah, or "Chucky," as his family knew him, didn’t deserve what happened that night. This case makes me reflect on how every detail can be a ray of hope for justice in the darkness of such awful events. Thinking of the Plater family as they navigate this tremendous loss. ?❤️
