Has anyone else been following the testimony of eyewitnesses in the Gonzalez-Mendez case? I can’t imagine the courage it takes to step forward and relive such a traumatic event. Those moments outside that restaurant must have been terrifying, and even more so for Franco’s brother, Edgar, who survived the ordeal. My heart goes out to the entire family and community, and I hope their bravery helps bring a sense of justice and closure. Even thinking about it is tough, and it's just a stark reminder of how quickly violence can alter lives forever. Please, keep these discussions respectful and remember the real people at the heart of these stories.
