On a summer evening in Omaha, Nebraska, the life of 23-year-old Hispanic male Franco Gonzalez-Mendez was tragically cut short. On July 15, 2018, just before 11:30 p.m., gunshots shattered the night air in south Omaha, an event that would leave one brother dead and another wounded.
