I recently came across a detail in Ivan Messersmith's case that's been really sticking with me. It’s been reported that the gun involved wasn’t properly secured before the tragic incident unfolded. Situations like this could maybe be avoided if there were stronger laws and education around gun safety. Ivan’s death is a devastating reminder of the real consequences when safety measures aren’t taken seriously. Sending love to Ivan’s family and friends during such a difficult time. It's clear Ivan was a remarkable person who touched many lives. Hopefully, his story will inspire some much-needed changes and prevent similar incidents in the future.
