Hey everyone, I've been following the tragic case of Michael "Mickey" Sodoro and can't help but feel for his family and friends who are still grappling with his loss. One aspect that really strikes me is how the community responded to his passing. It seems like there was a real call to action within the Omaha real estate community to increase safety measures after this horrific event. I've read that authorities are suggesting realtors show properties in pairs now, which sadly makes a lot of sense given what happened to Mickey. It's a reminder of how vulnerable some professions can be, and it's so unfortunate that it often takes a tragedy to prompt change. I hope these new safety measures can prevent something like this from ever happening again. Thinking of Mickey and his loved ones during this difficult time. It's just so unfair that a dedicated professional who was simply doing his job ended up in such a tragic situation. Take care, everyone, and stay safe.
