Has anyone else been following the testimony from Dr. Perez in Christian Hernandez's case? It's so difficult to hear about a young life like Isabella Santiago's being taken, and then to see another young person like Hernandez in such a complicated situation. Dr. Perez mentioned his desire for positive peer perception, which seems like it played a role in what happened. I think it's crucial to consider how peer pressure and the need for approval can push teenagers into making terrible decisions. I can't help but think about all the pressures teenagers face and how it can distort their judgment. It's such a tough spot for both families involved. Hoping for some justice and healing for Isabella's loved ones.
Hey everyone,

I've been following Isabella Santiago's case, and something that's really been sticking with me is the age of Christian Hernandez when this all happened. It’s just unsettling to see such young individuals involved in tragic situations. I can't stop thinking about what influenced his choices. It sounds like he had quite a difficult upbringing with domestic violence and financial struggles, and it makes me wonder how much support he had around him, if any.

I genuinely feel for Isabella’s family and for everyone affected by this tragedy. But, I also can't help but reflect on how young Hernandez was—it's just a loss on so many fronts. I'm still trying to wrap my head around whether keeping his case in the adult court system was the right call or not. Would love to hear how others are processing this. It’s a tough one.

Sending peace and strength to all those involved.
