Hey everyone,
Thinking about Cyrel Julian "Smurf" Cannon today and the continuing struggles his family and friends must face. I can't imagine the pain his daughters, Ajai, Amirah, and Adrian S., must go through, still holding onto memories of their dad. It's tough seeing the lack of information around his passing when his loved ones deserve closure and understanding.
The atmosphere in Wilmington around the time of his death was certainly tense. With the spike in gun violence, it’s heartbreaking to think of families who have had to deal with such tragedies without clear answers. It serves as an unfortunate reminder of the changes needed in the community to ensure safety and justice for all.
Sending strength and solidarity to everyone affected by these ongoing issues. Hopefully, more attention to these cases can help bring peace to those who are continually in mourning. If anyone has more insights or updates, they would be greatly appreciated.
Stay safe, everyone.
Hey everyone,
I've been thinking a lot about Cyrel Julian "Smurf" Cannon's case lately, and it really bothers me how there's so little information available about what happened to him. Despite his name being listed in the National Gun Violence Memorial, it feels like he was just another statistic. How can someone just disappear from the records like that?
I can't imagine the pain his family and friends must be going through. Losing someone in such a violent way is unfathomable, and it's even harder when there are no answers. It frustrates me that there seems to be a lack of urgency or transparency when it comes to his case. Does anyone here know if there's been any movement or renewed interest in investigating his death? It would be nice to think that his daughters and loved ones might find some peace one day. The people of Wilmington deserve to feel safe, and families like Cyrel's deserve justice.
Hoping we can keep his memory alive and push for more answers.
Stay safe out there.
