I came across an old newspaper clipping about the tragic case of Kelli Snow and Gregory Jenkins, and it's incredibly devastating. The amount of violence inflicted on both victims is beyond comprehension. There’s something particularly chilling about the fact that they were in their own home—a place that should have been their sanctuary. It makes you wonder about the level of premeditation involved and how two human beings could go through with such heinous acts. On a broader note, it’s a harsh reminder of the ongoing struggle against violent crime in Wilmington. It's heartening to know that the police managed to make arrests in this case fairly quickly, but it’s also a call to action for better preventative measures. My thoughts go out to the families and friends of Kelli and Gregory. I hope they find some semblance of peace after such an unimaginable loss.
