In reflecting on the tragic case of Gregory Jenkins and Kelli Snow, I'm particularly frustrated about the criminal justice system's handling of repeat offenders like Neki Gibbs. It's deeply unsettling that despite a history involving serious offenses, there seemed to be gaps in monitoring and effective rehabilitation. This isn't just about one isolated failure but a broader systemic issue that puts communities at risk. How is it possible for someone on probation for such serious crimes to violate terms and still be free until something horrific happens? It seems like the system let down not only the victims but their families, too. Greg and Kelli deserved better. This case should be a wake-up call for reform in how we deal with probation violations, ensuring that those who pose a genuine threat are adequately supervised. Thoughts?
