I can't shake the overwhelming sadness from the Edwards family tragedy in Wilmington. It's been on my mind since the news broke. I've been thinking a lot about the pressures Matthew might have been under, especially with the loss of his job and trying to support a family. It's difficult to comprehend how someone could reach such a desperate point, but it highlights the immense pressure and isolation that can come with financial and marital distress. Mental health issues are too often brushed aside, and it's so important that we create environments where people feel safe to seek help. My heart goes out to all who knew and loved the Edwards family. They truly must be going through unimaginable pain right now.
