I’ve been following TyMire’s case closely, and it breaks my heart to see how violence is affecting our youth. Does anyone else feel like there’s not enough focus on creating safe spaces for kids in these communities? I was reading through some reports and noticed that there aren't many youth centers or after-school programs in the area. It seems like there’s very little being done to give young people positive outlets. I came across a petition from local residents demanding more funding for these kinds of initiatives, and I'm wondering if anyone here has signed something similar or knows what more we can do to support these efforts? It feels like we need a grassroots movement to push for changes, and maybe pull together resources to prevent more tragedies like TyMire’s from happening. Thoughts?
