Does anyone else find it deeply concerning how little information has been released about Andre Hickson's case? It's been months, and there's so much uncertainty surrounding what really happened that night. I keep thinking about his family and friends, living without answers for so long. It's such a heavy burden to bear. I was reading that the community he lived in was already under strain from other violent incidents, and it makes me wonder how many more families are enduring similar pain. How do they even begin to heal or feel safe again without knowing why this happened, or who is responsible? There's a lot of focus on getting more policing, but shouldn’t we also be discussing ways to prevent these incidents from occurring in the first place? Hoping we can see some progress in solving this and maybe, just maybe, see some initiatives that address the bigger issues at play here. Thoughts?
