Has anyone else been following the tragic case of David W. Parcher from Milford? It’s so unsettling to think about how this happened in the middle of the night in what’s supposed to be the safety of one’s own home. My heart goes out to his family and friends who must be grappling with so many questions right now.
I find it strange that there hasn’t been much follow-up information in the news. Does anyone know if there are any suspects or what the police might be focusing on in their investigation? It would be good to see some progress for the sake of closure. If anyone in the area has heard anything, even if it seems small, it might help them solve this. It’s scary not knowing if this was random or if there’s more to the story. It just feels wrong that this could happen right in our community.
I've been following the case of David W. Parcher's tragic death and something that's been on my mind is the emergency response time. Milford police arrived at the scene pretty quickly after the shooting was reported, and it's clear they did everything possible to help. The fact that Mr. Parcher was swiftly taken to Bayhealth Sussex Campus speaks to the first responders' dedication. I'm grateful for their efforts, but it's heartbreaking that he couldn't be saved despite these timely actions.
