I was thinking about the impact on Eddie Johnson’s children after reading about this tragic incident. It's horrifying to imagine the pain they're going through. Losing a parent is unimaginable, and under such violent circumstances, it must be even harder for them. They’ve lost not just a father but also someone they cherished spending time with, whether it was barbecuing, fishing, or riding dirt bikes together. It breaks my heart to know that they have to grow up without him now, especially when he seemed to share such close ties with them. I’ve been following Eddie Johnson’s case and something really stood out to me about his hobbies, especially his love for cooking and barbecuing. As someone who also enjoys cooking, I feel like those simple pleasures really speak to the kind of person he was—someone who found joy in bringing others together and sharing good times with family and friends. It’s so upsetting to think about the void his absence will leave at future family gatherings. Imagining his kids and family trying to navigate life without him is just so difficult. I hope they find strength in each other and in the memories they shared with Eddie, particularly those times around the grill or out fishing.
