Has anyone looked into the possible aliases that Robert might have used? I was thinking about his nicknames, "Eight Ball" and "Shadow." Those are pretty distinctive and could lead us somewhere. Maybe there are people apart from his close circle who knew him by these names. If Robert had connections in different circles, these nicknames might've helped him stay under the radar if he didn’t want to be found. I wonder if anyone has checked local bars or pool halls, or if he's known in any particular communities with those names. Even after all these years, someone might recognize the nicknames more than his actual name. It’s worth digging into the culture and spots he was frequenting back then. Thoughts?
